Embark on a journey to uncover the ancient artistry of crafting beeswax candles using traditional methods – reminiscent of medieval times.
In the 'Craft's Origin' workshop, you'll delve into the immersive world of hand-dipping and shaping candles with 100% natural beeswax, harvested from hives across our holy land. Join us for a unique creative experience where you'll learn about the various types of wax and wicks and the significance of choosing pure beeswax. We'll delve into the kingdom of bees, marvel at the wonders of bee products, emphasize the importance of bee conservation, and, most importantly, hand-dip and design an array of candles.
About the Material:
Beeswax is nature's only material that naturally forms into wax and has been used for candle making, craftsmanship, and concoctions for millennia. It's antimicrobial and purifies the air when burned. Beeswax is the only wax that doesn't emit toxins and releases a sweet honey scent into space. During the workshop, enjoy light refreshments, visit our enchanting wagon gallery and freedom apiary, and take a tour in our family farm.
What to Expect:
You'll learn the fundamentals of the craft, safety guidelines, and the material's behavior, gaining practical knowledge to make candles at home. At the end of the workshop, you'll leave with:
24 candles hand-dipped on a frame
A pair of hand-shaped thick candles
A rolled candle made from finely peeled beeswax infused with healing herbs.
Instructions and General Information:
Please wear clothes and shoes that can get dirty (as beeswax tends to drip!)
Duration: 3.5 hours

Location: The workshop is held at our studio in Moshav Givat Nili.

The workshop is suitable for adults but appropriate for children ages 12 and up (accompanied by an adult).

"Self-collection" must be marked in the delivery type on checkout page.
- In case of participation cancellation in the workshop by the customer up to two weeks before the workshop date, a full refund will be given, excluding cancellation and handling fees of 10%. In case of cancellation by the customer up to two days before the start of the workshop, a refund of 50% of the workshop cost will be given.
- If a minimum of 5 participants do not register, the workshop will be canceled and you can choose between coming on another date or a full financial refund.
